Persephone was exactly conjunct (by the minute) the native's Ceres at 0 degrees Pisces (8th house in Placidus/9th house in whole sign) when her mother's first cousin sent her a package of pomegranates as a gift - her favorite fruit since childhood, and source of early memories of family life.

This was during the 2024 Persephone retrograde in Aquarius-Pisces. As Persephone made its last pass over native's Ceres, she also had significant developments in her connections with the same family members.

In Greek mythology, Hades gave Persephone pomegranate seeds unbeknownst to her, which she ate before she left the Underworld. Because she ate the "food of the dead", a deal was made and she had to spend a portion of each year in the Underworld with Hades.

The death-rebirth meaning of pomegranates seem especially parallel to a Persephone - Ceres in Pisces activation.

"When I see the sun opposite Chiron in a birth chart, it is often connected with issues of at least neglect and/or isolation, and sometimes a lot worse than that; with issues around abandonment either by one or both of the parents, or the person feeling neglected, isolated, and abandoned by the world.

It can lead in a worst case scenario to self-sabotage, self-sacrifice, feeling that oneself is the victim and the martyr. Although the positive side does give the potential for a much more integrated, assimilated, and holistic way of looking at not only the world but one's role and one's self position in the world".

"Traditionally, a Saturn like this shows dishonest, criminal friends, or (just because of the detriment) friendships that fall apart and disintegrate.

In fact, one theme in the [example] native's life is that he often had unreliable friends, low-class friends, and friendships that are unstable (or involve unstable people) and fall apart."
